Look at the working week
To see what falls due each day at a glance, without going project by project.
Extension of Projects
Your team's week on a grid: drag each task to the day it gets done and its date reschedules itself.
To see what falls due each day at a glance, without going project by project.
To shift what will not fit today without opening its record.
So pending work with no day stops being invisible.
To check the split holds up before promising a date.
Look at the working week, in three steps.
Open the planner.
Every task lands on the column of the day it is due, whichever project it came from.
The arrows change week and “Today” returns to the current one.
The Planner steps, one by one, are in the manual.
Read the Planner manualKnowing what is due each day usually means going into project after project. The planner lays out the tasks of the whole organization across the week, one column per day, whichever project the task comes from, so you see at a glance what is on today and what is piling up on Thursday.
For anyone who hands out or carries out the work week by week and wants to check that the split holds up before promising a date. It is an extension of Projects: it lives in its card in the Store and is installed with it.
Look at the working week, with the arrows to change week and “Today” to go back to the current one. Each task lands in the column of the day it is due, and the number on each column says how many fall on that day.
Move a task to another day by dragging its card to another column, without opening its detail: the due date changes as soon as you drop it. Below, the “No date” strip gathers what has no due date, and dragging a card to a day leaves it placed; dropping it back on the strip removes its date.
Compare your week with the team’s using the switch at the top right, which goes from your tasks to those of the whole organization. With your tasks the week respects your working day; with everyone’s, the organization’s. And switch to the calendar from the left column to see the same time with meetings, holidays and time off on top.
The planner is a weekly grid of tasks with dates, not a sprint tool: sprints live in the Sprints tab of each project’s detail, and here “no date” is the strip of what has no due date, not a prioritized pile. Done and canceled tasks do not appear, because this screen is for what is left to do, and moving a task to another day only changes its due date: dragging it back leaves it as it was.
