An add-on extends its host app: Planner lives inside Projects, Payroll inside Workforce. And on the Pro edition, whatever your company does that nobody else does the same way becomes one more app on the desktop.

The catalogue opens from the desktop. Installing is free, removing an app deletes none of its data, and premium is something you try before you pay for it.

And what you pay for by usage
Kern AI and Meetings are both metered, but they are not sold the same way. Meetings count minutes and are in both editions, where only the allowance changes. Kern AI is included in Pro and is not offered in Free; its licence belongs to a person and cannot be shared.
