Calendar

The organization’s time on a single grid: tasks with due dates, meetings, holidays and time off.

What you can do

Schedule something by dragging the days

To call a meeting, ask for days off or date a task without leaving the calendar.

Switch the view

To move from the whole month to the day in front of you.

Keep only what is yours

So the team calendar does not bury what is on your plate.

Move a task to another day

To reschedule a delivery without opening the task.

How it works

Schedule something by dragging the days, in three steps.

  1. 1

Drag over the days you want; from the keyboard, Shift plus the arrows marks the range and Enter opens it.

  2. 2

Pick what it is: meeting, task or time off. Switching type keeps the days you marked.

  3. 3

Fill it in and save. A task is finished in its own form, which asks for a project; time off is left requested, waiting for approval.

How to use it

The Calendar steps, one by one, are in the manual.

What is included

  • Tasks, meetings, holidays and time off on one grid (month or week)
  • Dragging a task to another day reschedules it
  • Replying to meeting invitations

What it solves

The organization’s time is usually scattered: deadlines in the projects, meetings in one place and holidays in another. The calendar brings together on one grid your dated tasks, meetings, holidays, approved time off and your reminders.

Who it is for

For anyone on the team who needs to see their week or the whole month at a glance, and for whoever schedules meetings or asks for days off and does not want to leave the calendar to do it.

What you can do

Schedule something by dragging across the days you want (with the keyboard, Shift and the arrows mark the range and Enter opens it) and choose what it is: meeting, task or time off, without losing the marked days when you change type. The time off is requested, awaiting approval, and the task is finished in its own form, which asks for a project.

Move a task to another day by dragging its chip to another day on the grid, switch between month, week and day from the selector in the bar and keep only what is yours with the filter: it leaves your tasks, the meetings you are in and your time off. Holidays always show.

Reply to an invitation from Meetings with “Will attend” or “Won’t attend”, tick off a reminder without leaving the calendar and subscribe to your calendar from outside with a personal ICS feed.

What to keep in mind

A task with no date is not drawn on the calendar: give it one from its detail and it will appear. Moving a task only changes its due date, and dragging it again leaves it where it was. Reminders appear on the day they go off and only their owner sees them. An invitation can be switched from “Will attend” to “Won’t attend” whenever you like, but it cannot be left unanswered again.

Frequently asked questions

What appears on the calendar?
Projects’ dated tasks, meetings, holidays, approved time off and your reminders, on a single grid you can see by month, week or day.
Can I reschedule a task from here?
Yes: drag its chip to another day. It only changes its due date and everything else about the task stays the same. A task with no date is not drawn until you give it one from its detail.
How do I ask for days off?
You drag across the days and choose “time off”. It is requested, awaiting approval, and while nobody has resolved it, it can be canceled from Time off.
Can I see the calendar from another application?
Yes. There is a personal ICS feed you can subscribe to from outside.
